In the dashboard, open Alerts. Through the API:
curl https://api.jumploon.com/v3/alerts \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $JUMPLOON_API_KEY" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"name": "High bounce rate",
"metric": "bounce_rate",
"threshold": 5,
"window_hours": 24,
"min_volume": 100,
"recipients": ["ops@acme.com"],
"enabled": true
}'| Field | Description |
|---|---|
threshold | The value that triggers the alert |
window_hours | How far back to measure, from 1 to 168 hours |
min_volume | Minimum messages in the window before a rate is judged, so 1 bounce out of 2 sends doesn't fire |
recipients | Who gets the alert email |
An alert fires at most once per window, so a lasting problem doesn't flood your inbox. GET /v3/alerts/events lists when alerts fired.
