SMTP
Use SMTP when your software can't call an HTTP API: a CMS, a framework's built-in mailer, a printer, or a legacy app.
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Host | api.jumploon.com |
| Port | 2525 |
| Security | STARTTLS (use TLS whenever your client supports it) |
| Username | apikey (literally) |
| Password | Your API key |
The username is always the word apikey. Any key with the mail.send or full scope works.
Examples
Nodemailer
import nodemailer from "nodemailer";
const transport = nodemailer.createTransport({
host: "api.jumploon.com",
port: 2525,
auth: { user: "apikey", pass: process.env.JUMPLOON_API_KEY },
});
await transport.sendMail({
from: "Acme <hello@acme.com>",
to: "ada@example.org",
subject: "Hello over SMTP",
text: "It works.",
});Django

Messages sent over SMTP go through the same pipeline as the API: the sender's domain must be verified, quotas and suppressions apply, and every recipient appears in Activity with full event tracking.
